Part I of the International course "Training for Trainers" took place on 9-17th May, 2016 in Gothenburg. Part II was hosted in a lovely town Whitley Bay, UK, in December, 2016. Both events brought together young people from from UK, Sweden, Croatia, Spain, Romania, Macedonia and Estonia. Each training consisted of intensive 9 days dedicated to development of trainer's competencies. Specific focus of the training was made on active learning - how to understand it and to promote it when working with young people. The training course will contribute to the development and expansion of a network of trainers and facilitators with the skills and motivation to contribute to the quality and sustainability of the youth programmes in Europe. The course included various types of learning activities and formats such as group discussions, individual research, reflection, role plays and team building activities.
The project was organized in cooperation with Opportunity Global with a support of Swedish NA of Erasmus+ program (Myndigheten för ungdoms- och civilsamhällesfrågor).
